The next session of WOMEN IN THE WORD begins May 6th and ends
June 28th. We hope you’ll join us!
If you decide you’d like to become a part of our study, subscribe via email in the sidebar of the T2 Women and then join our facebook group where you’ll be able to join in the daily discussion as your time permits: Women in the Word Facebook group
Seek! Study! Share!
Seek the Lord in prayer for yourself and each of us as we study His Word together. Here’s a sample prayer from Scripture that Nancy Leigh Demoss has shared in the past as she’s taught on seeking the Lord as you read and study His precepts.
“Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in Your law. Give me understanding and I will keep your law and obey it with all my heart. Show me Your ways, O Lord, teach me Your paths; Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” Psalm 119:18, 34; 24:4-5
Every Monday we will introduce our woman or women of the week.
This introduction will include:
- A brief description of our character
- A memory verse for the week, should you decide to participate in memorizing.
- All the Scriptures that reference our woman/women
- A printable study guide – ( keep all your notes in a binder as a memento of our study together)
A word of encouragement: We want to encourage you to set aside a certain amount of time each day to study our woman of the week. Whether it’s 15 minutes or 30 matters not! What matters is spending some time each day so that you won’t become overwhelmed or frustrated and give up on this spiritual discipline of Bible study! Some weeks you may just be able to skim the surface and other weeks you’ll have time to dig deeper. And we know that there will be a few weeks when it may be difficult to join us. That’s okay! This Bible study is perfectly designed to jump in and out as you find it necessary!
On Wednesdays and Fridays we’ll post our insights, commentaries and wrap up our week.
We want to also hear from you! We believe that your insights are also important to help each of us grow in our walk, so we’ve set up a closed Facebook page so that each of you who are studying along with us can join in the discussion. We hope to post questions throughout the week. If you haven’t joined Women in the Word Facebook page yet and plan to study along with us, we really want to encourage you to join us there.
We will also be sharing all our posts on our T2 Women’s Facebook page as well.
This means there are actually three ways to keep up with the study, but we definitely would recommend the first two choices for sure.
I believe that’s it! If we haven’t answered all your questions you can catch us on the Facebook pages.
We are so looking forward to starting this study with you on Monday!!
Til then, sue
