To trust or not to trust ….

Thanks for joining us for week 3 in our study of the Women in the Word.  Are you a first time visitor to the T2 Women?  We’re glad you’ve dropped by and we’d love for you to join us this week as we study Sarah and Hagar.  You can find out everything you need to know by clicking here!

Approximately 2100 years before Christ, a man named Abram answered the call of God and left his country for a new land and his wife Sarai traveled right by his side.  Abraham is known as the Patriarch of the Israelite nation which makes Sarah the Matriarch. Though Sarah wasn’t perfect, she is a wonderful example for us to follow in so many ways. In fact, she is one of the few women that make it into the “Hall of Faith” ( Hebrews 11:11).

There is just so much we can learn from this great lady and her maid Hagar that we couldn’t possibly squeeze it all into just one week, so we’ve decided to dedicate two weeks to learning all we can from her rich and fulfilling life of faith.

→ We will be reading about Sarah and Hagar in these Scriptures over the next two weeks: Genesis 12; 16; 17:15-21; 18:1-15;  21:1-21; 1 Peter 3:1-7; Hebrews 11:11

→ This week’s memory verse is Nahum 1:7

“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.”

→ Print out these resources to guide you in your study of the Women in the Word and to create your own Women in the Word binder or folder: Remember you can do as much or as little as is feasible for your life.  We encourage you to spend time daily and discover what the Lord will reveal to you through His Word.  Our newest additions are on the top.

→ And please join us at by liking our page and become a part of our closed facebook group at

We’re looking forward to sharing with you on Wednesday and Friday and we can’t wait to hear from you at our group page.
