“In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace”. (Ephesians 1:7).
If you are in Christ, you have been redeemed by His shed blood and forgiven of your sins! Isn’t that a glorious truth to hold onto today and everyday! It is God’s grace that has given us these spiritual blessings. We surely didn’t deserve them nor could we earn them. You can read more about God’s grace in Sue’s ‘Building Your Marriage’ series.
Have you received God’s grace? How then can we extend grace to others? The Lord has given us one answer in Ephesians 4:32: “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” As you memorize or meditate on this verse this week, is there someone you need to forgive? Now is a good time to extend grace and forgive them. The freedom it will bring into your life will make it well worth this step of obedience.
