Now here’s a gal we all love to hate! You know the kind; one of those who’s spoiled, self-centered, and actually thrives on using her beauty and talents to gain all the best this world has to offer her. One who couldn’t care less about who she has to harm to get what she’s after.
She’s already snagged herself a big one when she married Potiphar. He’s able to give her the best money can buy and a ticket into the grandest social circles of the day, but despite having it all, she’s still not satisfied when Mr. Potiphar brings a new servant home that’s easy on the eyes. Why, it seems the more he tries to resist her advances, the greater her longing grows to make him hers.
You’re probably wondering why we would even want to study a woman like Potiphar’s wife, or what possible good could come from studying Mrs. P, but I think her story definitely offers us a few important truths, and even a few surprises we don’t want to miss out on!! Join us this week as we visit with Mrs. P.

→ Our memory verse for this week is: Galatians 5:16
